i miss writing.

I wait. I wait by the clear ocean under the moonlit skies as my sandals sink into the soft golden sand. If Leo doesn't show up in 10 minutes, I sure as hell will leave this place. "I'll be there. If I don't show up before your limitations, you get the permission to chop my head off." Oh so much for that.

I daydream about what my goldfish would look like if I mate her with a guppy. Mammal babies or not? I gaze through the mid-air, listening to the furious waves while my thoughts drift far away.

A tap brings me back to our planet. "Hey, Nat. You seem cold, come on." Leo greets me politely as he holds my arm and lifts me. I'd be lying if I say I didn't jerk and wasn't disturbed by his cold touch on my bare skin. We walk slowly into a stone cave nearby the ocean and sit on the cold, hard ground.
"Here." Leo says as he takes of his thick black jacket and lays it on my hunched shoulders. Really? I watch guys in movies do this a million times, but never expected Leo to illustrate the character 'common boys in movies'. I'd watch them do the exact same thing and think that it is really silly when girls think it's romantic. But now I feel warm and secure.

I tried not doing the past tense thingy.
