I looked at myself in the full-length mirror, and the image it potrayed captivated me. I captivated myself. It was odd. I liked it, but I hated it at the same time.
The imperfections that scarred my skin at all places, I just wanted to scratch at them with my claws. Dark purple circles were ringed below my eyes, my lips dark in colour because of the lack of water, I guessed. My skin was like translucent pale clay, only had tints of a rosy colour at the cheeks. They were sunken and hollowed.
I blinked my eyes several times while cringing at how low the temperature dropped to. My hands were cuffed, cuffed to nothing. My eyes immediately shifted to the direction of the Eternal Reward only inches away from my fingers. I tried to reach out for it, but I couldn't muster enough strength to move even the least bit. I tried again, but to no avail. It took so much energy to even think of moving. I couldn't feel them, my fingers, my arm, anything. I was drained out of everything - energy, memory, hearing, senses. My eyelids curtained my eyes, my lashes coated with frozen water.
Next thing I knew, I was asleep. I was asleep for a long time. And I never woke up.
