I say, at night I can see animals crawl
They live under my bed and come out only in the dark
In between dusty pillars, there they lay
They watch me when I breathe, live, pray
Like an audience they never fail to cheer me
They give me pressure, at the same time faith
In the morning I hear things
I think hallucinations but those are just them singing
They cheer and chant when I am being brought down
"This is the future, this is the future, this is the future"
A natural anthem, it has become
And they remind me everyday, what may or may not come
Like a book but it's automatic
They make sure I understand what it takes to live
